Need help
Help, glossary, FAQ and official updates
When something goes wrong with an order, the agent's own support is the right first stop, because only it can see your order. Live chat runs nine in the morning to half past six in the evening, Monday to Friday, UK time. Outside those hours, write to [email protected] with the order or waybill number and a precise description of the problem; the after-sales article asks for exactly those two things.
For questions about this site, its links or anything we got wrong, write to [email protected]. We cannot act on orders, but we fix errors and dead links, and corrections are listed in the update log at the bottom of this page.
Jargon
Glossary: terms you will see
Agent shopping has its own vocabulary, half official and half community slang. The official statuses come from the user centre; the shorthand comes from forums. Knowing which is which keeps support conversations short, because staff answer in official terms.
The table below covers the words that come up most in seller choice and warehouse checks.
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| QC | Quality check: the warehouse photos and appearance inspection after check-in |
| GL | Green light: community shorthand for approving QC photos and keeping the item |
| RL | Red light: rejecting QC photos and asking to return or exchange |
| W2C | Where to cop: community shorthand for a link to a listing |
| Stocked in | Order status when goods arrive at the warehouse; starts the storage and return clocks |
| MOQ | Minimum order quantity on wholesale listings; below it, an order is not valid |
| Price break | A lower unit price unlocked at a higher quantity |
| Haul | Several items consolidated into one international parcel |
| Volumetric weight | Size-based weight; freight bills on the larger of this and actual weight |
| Fill & Buy | The manual order form for links the agent cannot read automatically |
GL and RL are community terms, not official statuses; the user centre does not use them. When writing to support, describe the problem plainly instead.
Questions
Frequently asked seller-choice questions
Most questions we get are about the same six moments: the cheap listing, the out-of-sale report, the inspection boundary, the return window, the fee structure and cancellation. The answers below are short and link to the page that covers each in full. The official return policy page is worth a read alongside them.
The same item is in five shops. Do I just take the cheapest
Not before checking why it is cheapest. On wholesale listings the low price is often a quantity tier, and orders below the printed minimum are not valid. Run the four rounds; they take a few minutes.
The agent says out of sale, but the listing still shows stock
The official explanation is that some sellers update inventory late. The agent double-checks with the seller; the result depends on the seller's real stock. Your money returns to your balance, and the runner-up from your shortlist is the next stop.
Does the warehouse check whether electronics work
No. The published inspection rules exclude authenticity, function and quality for electronics, and sealed packs are not opened. Buyer reviews mentioning function are your best evidence.
Who gives the five-day return guarantee
The seller, on the third-party platform. The agent relays and negotiates; the seller decides. The published five-day guarantee describes 120 hours from stocked in, subject to the item and seller. Help 87 separately describes a 14-day warehouse exchange period; confirm which provision applies rather than assuming a universal deadline.
Is there a service fee
Not on purchases, per the official fee article. The costs to watch are the exchange rate, top-up handling charges, freight and per-parcel charges, all on the costs page.
Can I cancel after paying
Depends on stage: before the seller ships, usually; after, it depends on the seller. Manual Fill & Buy orders cannot be cancelled after payment.
Official news
Official announcements, with their dates
Each item below carries the date the operator gave it. Promotions run until the stated end date and not beyond; check the official list before counting on any of them.
- Halloween festival, announced 2026-10-09: a ten percent shipping subsidy from October 10 to 16, Beijing time, and a coupon pack running until October 31.
- EU duty-free lines, 2026-07-01: duty-free EU lines continue, taxes included.
- EU category customs fees, 2026-06-23: three euros per parcel from the agent, from July 1.
- US tax-free routes, 2025-04-17: about five to ten dollars more per package than ordinary USPS lines.
- New-user coupons, 2024-09-22: coupons worth three thousand yuan, about four hundred and ten dollars, for new sign-ups, still listed first on 2026-10-10.
Community
Community feedback and where to find it
The operator rewards sharing: a points programme in the help centre pays bonus points for haul videos and forum posts that include an order link. That is useful context when reading community posts. Many are honest, and some are written with a reward in mind; weigh photos over adjectives.
The official community lives in two places. The subreddit r/kakobuy carries the header Kakobuy Official Community and showed about twenty-one thousand members on 2026-10-10. The official Discord is linked from the agent's home page. Both are useful for one thing this site cannot do: recent buyer reports about specific shops, often with photos.
Read community threads the way you read reviews. One angry post is a person; the same complaint about the same shop three times is a pattern worth a round-two or round-three cut. YouTube and TikTok haul videos help with sizing and colour, and help less with shop choice, because they rarely name which of the five shops the item came from.
Change log
Last updated and what changed
Official notices are dated, and this site follows the same habit: every change below carries a date, and every policy figure on the site carries the date we last checked it against the official page.
